Ranas / Duo Porteño de Tango

Leandro Schnaider and Pablo Schiaffino formed Duo Ranas in 2005 at the famous "Café Tortoni". In 2009 their 4th European tour leads them again to numerous cities, for this time they will visit also Graz.

Leandro Schnaider

Leandro studied bandoneon with Pablo Greco and Gabriel Merlino, he entered the Conservatory of Music "Manuel de Falla" where he studied with maestro Rodolfo Daluisio. He is currently studying bandoneon with maestro Carlos Lazzari. Besides Duo Ranas Leandro played and plays with Daniel Melingo, Orquesta Típica El Afronte and Eppuse Muove.

Pablo Schiaffino

Pablo graduated from the "Beethoven" Conservatory in 1998 where he studied piano and guitar and improved his piano and harmony studies with maestro Juan Carlos Cirigliano, Julián Peralta, Gabriel Merlino, María del Carmen Aguilar, Olga Galperin and maestro Ramiro Gallo. Pablo currently directs, together with musician Paula Gluzman, Cuarteto Don Atilio and plays with Gabriel Merlino Trío and Orquesta Tipica El Afronte.
