It's a long time since we had the chance to welcome Mala Junta to a milonga at mo.xx: Christian Bakanic (accordion, bandoneon), Georgios Zacharoudis (viloin), Aris Feslikidis (piano) and Rina Kacinari (cello) enlighted both dancers and listeners.

Milonga with Los del Abasto · 13 May 2006

The ball is round, even at tango. This fact was proven by Enrique Grahl and Judita Zapatero with their creative show dance reflecting the coming football world cup. Los del Abasto and the legendary singer Mansur Hagopián as special guest guaranteed with thrilling music, that the legs of the tangueras and tangueros got no break at the mo.xx milonga for long.

Tango concert in memoriam Klaus Johns

The concert, where about 40 top-class musicians made you feel the spirit of Klaus Johns, the spiritual father of the tango scene in Graz, was a feast for the senses. "This is not a time to mourn but a harvesting feast", said Thomas Rohrmoser, who initiated this evening at the Orpheum, where the thrilled audience could enjoy the tango professor's fruits of years of work.

Tango music of such a diversity on one evening will not be offered every day. Thank you very much for this glamorous event to the musicians of the six ensembles!

Milonga with Color Tango · 4 November 2005

On 4 November 2005 Holger Bock made himself the finest birthday present: a milonga with one of the best tango orchestras in the world, Orquesta Color Tango

The milonga in the dance school Kummer (thank you Daniela Kummer!) was celebrated by numerous "aficionados" from Austria and Slovenia and became a present not only for Holger but for the whole tango scene in Graz. Thank you Holger, thank you Color Tango!
